My Top 5 Online Fashion Websites

I'm a sucker for online shopping. I'm one of those people that will be given something really important to do and within 5 minutes of starting that task, my laptop turns into a catalogue of fashionness and I completely forget what I was meant to be doing. I do love a good online browse though (and occasionally buy when I'm not chicken enough to spend my money). I think there's nothing better than lying in bed, in your pjs with a cup of tea and scrolling through numerous websites looking at dresses, jumpers and everything else for hours. And think about it, it's much better looking at the sales in the comfort of your home than having to put up with people pushing past you in the shops right? I have been really loving 5 websites in particular recently, many of them which are pretty well known and I have used for a long time with one that I have only just discovered. I have loved clothes from every one of these websites, that I have bought, and so I thought I'd share with you my most loved fashion websites.

Missguided

I think most of you will have heard of Missguided. I remember discovering this shop ages ago. It was one of those things that you feel like you discovered before everyone else, you know what I mean? but anyway, I frikin love this shop. I've never been disappointed with anything that I have ordered from here. It is pretty affordable but also great value for money. Their cheapest delivery is £4.00, which in my opinion is a little bit on the pricey side. However, if you visit the site regularly or sign up to their email subscription you can easily find out about all the deals they have going on. Every week their is usually an offer, whether it be 20% of coats and jackets or £1.99 delivery on everything. That is what I love the most about them. Their student discount is usually 10% but at the moment they are offering 15% which takes that little bit extra money off your bill. The quality of their clothes is always on point and washes great too. I have a range of clothes from Missguided from casual t-shirts to party dresses and I have never had to complain about anything!

Miss Pap

This is quite a recent favourite of mine and a website that I don't think gets enough recognition. I noticed a few smaller Youtubers talking about this brand in their videos and so I thought I'd give them a browse and it's safe to say, I was very impressed. They have some amazing clothes on their which you could find in places like Topshop but for a much cheaper price. I haven't actually bought anything from here before so I can't comment on the quality of the clothes but they do look promising. I have made a little bit of a wishlist though so I'm sure I'll be buying from them soon. Their cheapest delivery is £3.99, which is similar to Missguided and many other shops and they unfortunately do not do student discount. However, the prices you have to pay for the clothes themselves makes up for this and I am looking forward to trying some of them in the future.

Pretty Little Thing is, again, a recent favourite of mine however, I've known about it for a long time. The clothes are very similar to that of Missguided, as well as the prices but I do find that Pretty Little Thing are slightly cheaper. Like Missguided, they do so many offers. I find that everytime I go onto the website there's something different and I'm always obsessed with what they have on their. They do student discount too and at the moment 20% which is perfect! Their cheapest delivery is £1.99 which is an absolute bargain! I do really love this website and it has so many dupes for highstreet styles.

Boohoo is such an inexpensive brand and that's what I love about them. Like Pretty Little Thing and Missguided they do amazing offers and do 10% student discount which is always a bonus. Their cheapest delivery is £3.99 which is pretty standard for most online shops. however, they do seem to always have deals on their delivery which is great because I sometimes get put off buying clothes when delivery is too much! So basically I'd rather pay £30 for a dress than £3.99 for delivery, that's my logic guys. The clothes are really good quality as well, I recently bought a playsuit for £18.00 and it was the exact dupe for one that I had been wanting from Topshop which is £50 and it was so comfy. I saved a good few pennies there!

ASOS is shop that we all know and love. I've loved it for a long time. Unlike the others I've mentioned, it has a range of items that aren't necessarily their own. They stock many different brands; both designer and highstreet and therefore have a huge price range. They do student discount at 10% and their cheapest delivery is £3.00 but free for orders over £20. I've ordered a lot from ASOS in the past and currently have an order on the way and I have never had any trouble with them whatsoever. It's good that they stock items like Jack Wills, New Look etc, as certain items might not be available in their own stores and looking on ASOS is always a good idea. It's also a great way to add on student discount to brands that don't actually offer discount in their own stores or websites.

Which online fashion websites do you love?

Current ASOS Wishlist

I have really been loving ASOS recently and have created quite a wishlist. I love my lists and when it comes to clothes, making a list of things I'd love to have in my life makes list-writing even better. Don't you just wish you could click on an item of clothing and it would magically appear in your wardrobe though? Why does this not happen?

I thought I'd share with you all my recent favourites from ASOS. I have to admit, I was meant to be doing uni work but somehow happened to stumble across the ASOS website (I don't know how this happened...) and fell in love with A LOT of things they have on there. I feel like I need to bring more autumnal clothes into my wardrobe, even though I have loads already. However, it's always nice to treat yourself to a few new things once in a while right?

Thank you Daniel Wellington for my new beauty

For my 18th birthday, a new little baby came into my life. It's perfect, what I've wanted for ages and looks so pretty. Okay, it's a watch but seriously though, I get excited over these things! I've been wanting a watch from Daniel Wellington for ages because I saw that they sell the perfect brown leather watches that I've been loving. Everyone seems to be getting Michael Kors watches recently which I find nice but if I'm honest, they're not me at all. The range at Daniel Wellington is amazing and I decided to get the Classic Cardiff Lady which has a medium toned brown leather wristband and a rose gold face. I didn't want a watch to light because I feel that they look weird on my wrist, probably because I'm too pale. The rose gold features are beautiful, I'm a big fan of rose gold and have been looking for a watch with this detailing on and I found my perfect match. The face is large enough for me but not too big that it looks oversized on my wrist. Another good point is that usually with watches I have to drill an extra hole but with this one, there's plenty to fit all size wrists so it fit perfectly!

Have you tried any Daniel Wellington watches?

A Graduation Outfit || Fashion

Dress: River Island - £30

Sandals: Accessorize (bought last year)
Nail Polish: 'Don't Be Shy' - Rimmel's Rita Ora Collection

Necklace: Wallis (Mam's necklace)

Hello Everyone!

So I thought I'd do a small outfit post from this week when I attended my brother's graduation in Cardiff. We travelled down to Bristol on Tuesday and then woke up bright and early (which is always so much fun) and drove over to Cardiff the next morning. The day was amazing and although the morning weather was grey and miserable it soon brightened up and made the day even better.

My brother, Matthew, graduated from Cardiff University with a 2:1 in English Language and as a family we couldn't be more proud. Seeing him in his gown made him look so grown up and it was crazy to see how fast the past three years have gone.

The day as a whole was special and so much fun (with a shoutout to whoever put on the reception lunch, the food was fabulous.) However, we were knackered by the end of it and I couldn't wait for my bed!

Well done Matthew!

Asymmetric Dresses/Skorts || Spring Trends 2014

This style has become very popular recently and I often see many people wearing it both day and night. I thought I'd combine asymmetric dresses together with skorts for the next instalment of my Spring Trends 2014, as I feel like they're quite similar in style. You could wear these items through the day with a pair of standard black tights and boots or dress it up by getting those legs out and combining them with some of your favourite heels. I've wanted to try this style so I've made a cheeky purchase of the monochrome dogtooth print dress from New Look (whoops).

Celesse Wrap Over Asymmetric Skirt - Missguided - £14.99
Hot Pink Belted Skort - Miss Selfridge - £35.99
Metallic Sunflower Skort - Topshop - £42.00

Primarks 'Zara Office City Bag' Dupe || Fashion

Finding the right bag is always an important part of a girls life. You have to take into consideration the colour, size, price, where you can put your make up...and so it's a pretty significant task. It's always a good feeling when you buy a new bag, especially when packing it with all your things, and a lot better when you get it at a brilliant price. This little beauty is from Primark and cost me £12! It's an amazing dupe for the Zara Office City bag and since I was originally wanting the Zara version I was so happy to find this in my local Primark.

The colour is simple: black. It goes with everything and so I thought it would make a staple item in my wardrobe. It has gold metal detailing with two zips on the inside. It's such a handy bag as it has three compartments, two zipped and one button closed. This is great storage and perfect for carrying much of my rubbish around. It also has a mini zipped compartment on the inside as well as two phone holders. It's a handy little thing! There are two handles as well as a long strap, perfect for me as I love to swap around the way I carry my bag. However, I do think that the smaller handles are a bit too narrow to the main body of the bag, as I prefer to have a wider distance to fit my arm through. It carries a fair bit of stuff and I'm so glad I found it!

If you're looking for a new bag and don't want to spend a great amount of money, head to Primark to have a look because they do great dupes of higher priced brands. I'm glad I didn't buy the Zara Office City bag otherwise I would've kicked myself knowing that this was available. The material is sturdy but I will see how long it last, I've had quite a good history with Primark bags so hopefully this one should live up to my expectations!

Hope you all have a lovely day!

Printed Sweaters || Spring Trends 2014

Modern prints are very popular at them moment and there are many versions around the shops. Printed sweaters are a staple item of this Spring and they are pretty practical for your wardrobe. By wearing them with jeans, shorts or skirts, you can create a casual everyday look or even dress it up a little. Also, by wearing a collared shirt underneath, it would make a cute preppy look. I've gathered some of my favourites that I've seen whilst doing a cheeky spot of online shopping!

Grey 'New York Glam' - Mango - £19.99
Pink 'London, New York, Paris, Milan' - Topshop - £24.99

White 'Get Into It' - Monki - £20.00

Boyfriend Coats || Spring Trends 2014

Since spring is coming up, and I say coming, it feels like it's still winter out there. Anyway, the weather is still freezing cold and a coat is an essential in every girl's wardrobe. Boyfriend coats are a big trend at the moment, whether they're pastels, bright or just neutral. I thought I'd put a little collection of these coats which I found online that I quite like (and really want!). Some are more affordable than others but overall they're a must for spring! The boyfriend fit makes it a lot larger than usual but the colours and styles create a casual look into a more chic one.

Pink Wool Boyfriend Coat - Miss Selfridge - £55.30 (30% off)
Black Textured Double Pocket Boyfriend Coat - New Look - £34.99

What's In My Bag || Winter

Hello Everyone!

I've been meaning to do a post like this for ages now and so I thought why not spend my night writing my own for you all to read. The 'what's in my bag' tag has always been a favourite read of mine - probably because I'm nosey but shhh, no one needs to know that!

My bag is from Marks and Spencer and cost £35, however I still had gift cards left over from Christmas and so in the end only had to pay a tenner! Bargain! I normally use this bag for weekends, if I'm going shopping let's say, rather than for sixth form because it would just get wrecked from all my books. I usually keep the same items in my bag and just throw stuff in when I need to. I hate having an unorganised bag so I try and keep it as neat as possible but, like every girl, it just never happens.

  • Iphone 5C - White - My one and only.
  • Purse - Cath Kidston - Full of receipts.
  • Diary - Paperchase - I like to be organised.
  • Pen - Paperchase - An essential!
  • Notebook - TK Maxx - Incase I need to jot down some blog ideas or make a few lists.
  • Make Up Bag - Urban Outfitters - I'm a girl, this is a must:
    - MAC Studio Fix Concealer
    - Rimmel Stay Matte Powder
    - Maybelline Falsies Mascara
    - Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick 'Let's Get Naked'
    - Real Techniques Powder Brush
    - Real Techniques Deluxe Crease Brush (Concealer)
  • Hat and Gloves - Accessorize - Well, it is winter.
  • Mirror - Cath Kidston - To check that face of yours.
  • Emergency Kit - Cath Kidston - A life saver, something always happens when I'm out and I stress that I need something:
    - Plasters
    - Paracetamol
    - Travel Sickness Tablets
    - Tissues
    - Hand Sanitizer
    - Hand Cream
    - Lip Balm
    - Soothers
  • Deodrant/Spray - Just incase you start to get a bit smelly.

A Simple Outfit.

Hey everyone!

So last week it was my mam's birthday and to celebrate, my parents and I went out for an Indian's at Akbar's. If anyone doesn't know what Akbar's is, it is a chain of Indian restaurants that serve the most delicious food ever! We all had a great time and although my mam freaked out when they kept playing happy birthday, she had a lovely time too! (Thank god there were other birthdays in the restaurant to save her the embarrassment eh?)

For my outfit, I decided to keep it quite simple with a more dramatic make up look. I wore my speckled blue Topshop t-shirt dress with some brown brogues. I love these t-shirt dresses because you can do anything with them: dress them up, dress them down, they're so practical! For my make up I decided to use my trusty Urban Decay Naked Palette and create a smokey eye. Now, I must admit, recently I've started to wear eyeshadow more but usually stick to the neutrals. However, I went out of my comfort zone for the night and actually grew to love it!

Dress: Topshop
Shoes: Topshop

Face: Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation and concealor, Bourgois chocolate bronzer, MAC 'Immortal Flower' blush, MAC Soft and Gentle.
Eyes: Urban Decay Naked Palette - sin, buck, toasted and dark horse
Lips: MAC Hue

Hope you all have a lovely Sunday!

My 17th Birthday Outfit!

Hey guys!

My birthday was on Monday and to celebrate, I went out with my family for a lovely meal and then a spot of champagne back at the house. I had an amazing day and although I hardly did anything, I got to spend time with my family and enjoy my first day of being a 17 year old. God I'm getting old.

The next day, I celebrated my birthday with a close group of friends as we went to Pizza Express for a nice evening meal. I thought I'd share with you what I wore that night as I've realised I barely ever do outfit posts and so I thought I'd show all you beautiful readers!

Flower Print Kimono: Internacionale - £22.99
Brown Belt: Primark (as part of a dress)
Aztec Print Bag: Primark

July Favourites.

Hello Everyone!

I love reading blogs and watching videos about other people's favourites for the month so I thought I'd join in the trend and share with you some of the things that I have been loving in the month of July. I can't believe how fast this year has gone and how come it's August already?! Say what?!

I've never actually done a favourites post before so I hope you enjoy reading what I have loved using over this past month:

Rimmel Apocalips - £5.99

Left to Right: 102 Nova, 500 Luna and 501 Stellar
Following the blogger hype, of course, I thought I'd try out some of the new lip lacquers by Rimmel. When I was in York a couple of months ago I bought the colour 102 NOVA which is a hot pink with purple undertones. At first, I have to admit, I wasn't too keen. This may sound weird, but I like a good smelling lip product. Yes, I know you're probably thinking why on earth I'm saying that but it's true. If you have tried a MAC lipstick, you'll know what I mean when I say that they smell slightly like vanilla. Well, the Rimmel Apocalips have this weird smell which put me off a bit. This month, I decided to spend some of my Boots Advantage card points on two colours: 500 LUNA and 501 STELLAR which are an orange/peach colour and a bright red/pink. Once I started using these colours I realised how amazing they are! They glide on like a lip gloss but are highly pigmented and long lasting like a lipstick. I especially like the colour LUNA, it's so summery and would look great with a tan!

Bourjois Cream Blush - £7.99

Left to Right: 02 Healthy Glow and 03 Rose Tender
Again, I did what I always do and followed the hype of these Bourjois Cream Blushes. I have the shades 02 HEALTHY GLOW and 03 ROSE TENDER. These are the first cream blushes I've ever tried and I'm very impressed. I usually apply them with a Real Techniques Buffing Brush on top of my everyday highlighter and they blend in really well. They are long lasting and quite light on the skin but well pigmented, if that makes any sense? I've been using ROSE TENDER quite a lot, even so that I've nearly hit pan. Oops! This colour is a gorgeous rose pink and HEALTHY GLOW is a peach/orange colour (which, in fact, goes very well with Rimmel Apocalips in LUNA, if anyone would like to know!). Great for summer!

Sinful Colours Nail Polish - £1.99

Left to Right: Tinkleberry and Pink Forever
This month, I have been painting my nails an array of colours. I also like a bit of a change and when I came across this new range in Boots, I thought I'd give them a go. I first saw these when I watched Gabriella from Velvetgh0st's beauty haul video and so when I took a trip to Boots one day a bought two: TIMBLEBERRY and PINK FOREVER

Dove Summer Glow - £2.49

I first saw this product being used when I saw that Anna from The Style Diet using it and talking about it in a few of her videos. It looked so natural on her but I never really considered buying it. It wasn't until my mam started using that I thought hmm, maybe I will have a go. Luckily, she had two bottles and offered me one of them. Well, a girl can't turn down a free beauty product can she? This product is basically a body lotion with a hint of self tanner which gradually gets browner after you apply it. I have the shade of fair to medium and this is the perfect tone for my skin. I applied it every morning after my shower for about a week or so and I noticed that my skin turned to a golden brown, without streaks or any oompa-loompa-ness!

L'Oreal New Studio Matt & Messy Shine-Free Sea Salt Spray - £3.69

I do love a good sea salt spray and lately, I've given away my trusty Lee Stafford spray and swapped for this baby. This product is much more cheaper than the Lee Stafford product and it still does a great job. If I'm honest, I think it is better! It doesn't leave any residue in your hair or makes it feel 'crispy' and obvious that it has any product in. This sea salt spray has a pleasant smell and a little goes a long way. I spray my hair when it's wet and then again after I blow dry it. It leaves a natural, tousled look, just like you've been on a Californian beach. *dreams about that beach, ahhhh*

Fashion - Shirts and Blouses

The fashion item that I have been loving lately are these Topshop blouses. I have this red with white polka dots blouse, which I bought first, and also a white with black hearts blouse (which I don't have a photo of because it's in the wash, sorry!) I think these blouses are really practical as they go with almost anything. You could wear them on their own with leggings or tucked into jeans or shorts. They smarten up an outfit and are really comfy and quite cool, I've noticed whenever I where them, they don't make me really hot as they have a light material. They retailed at about £38 (I think) and have been a favourite fashion item of mine this month. I'm already on the lookout for the next lot of blouses to add to my collection!

So there you have it, my July favourites! Let me know if you've tried any of these items in the comments below because I'd really love to hear your views!
