The Ultimate Beach Goddess...Lee Stafford Sea Salt Spray

Hi everyone!

Hope you're all okay!

I absolutely love the natural look and I've been trying to use as little heat as possible on my hair because I don't want to damage it. Without using curlers or straighteners, I've created a wavy/curly look by using
Lee Stafford's Sea Salt Spray. I've used this product for a couple of years now and I used it on holiday quite a lot to create a beach wave look. Lately, after I dry my hair slightly with either a hairdryer or just a towel, I spray this product a few times all over my hair and scrunch it with my fingers. My hair is naturally wavy and by using this it defines my waves and adds a slight curl to it.

The only downside I have about this product is the fact that it can make your hair feel quite rough if you spray too much. If you use too much of this product it does give your hair that 'just got out of the sea' feel which is never good. It is recommended on the back of the product that you should spray it about 52 times but in my opinion, I think that is too much so I just go my own way and spray about 10 times all over so that it doesn't feel dry and full of product.

I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is interested in creating a beach wave look and at a price of £7.49 from Boots it is great value for your money and lasts a long time!

Hope you all have a lovely Tuesday!

It's all about the eyes!

Hello everyone!

Hope you're all okay! As I sit here in my onesie whilst scoffing my face with a box of chocolates, watching the box set of Made in Chelsea with the beautiful  scent of my Yankee candle lingering around my room (I sound like such a loner, I know), I thought I would write to all of you lovely people. Today's post is going to be about a party eye look that I have created using my urban decay naked palette. The one thing that I love about going to parties is the time spent beforehand getting ready. I love doing my make-up, hair and choosing what outfit to wear and even though it's only for a few hours, it's so worth it!
Coincidentally, I was supposed to be at a sixth form party tonight but I can't go because lately I've been so busy that I haven't had any time spent at home with the family so I've decided to stay in and spend my night with the mother.

I have created a shimmery smokey eye using 3 colours from my urban decay naked palette: half baked, smog and creep.

First, I start by using 'half baked' on the base of my eyelid, which is a shimmery golden colour, by using the Real Techniques base shadow brush. I love Real Techniques brushes because they apply make up so smoothly and make it simple to apply. After I've put my base shadow on, by using the Real Techniques deluxe crease brush, I apply 'smog' into the crease of my eye. 'Smog' is a dark brown eye shadow with a slight shimmer to it which helps define the eye when applied to the crease. The darker crease shadow is great paired with the golden base colour.
After I apply the eye shadows, I use a dark black colour called 'creep' as eyeliner. Rather than using a liquid eyeliner, this eye shadow helps soften the eye and blend in. To apply this, I use the Real Techniques pixel-point eyeliner brush which is a small thin brush to neatly line the eye. After this is applied, i blend the eyeliner in slightly with the eye shadow to create a smokey eye effect.

Following this I apply my usual mascara and the look is complete! I've started wearing this look to most parties now as it goes with most outfits and the shimmer is perfect for parties!

So there you have it, my party look! Hope you all have a lovely week and I'll speak to you soon!

Long time no speak!

Hi Everyone!

I'm writing this post to basically apologise for the lack of posts there have been recently. I realised the other day that I hardly ever blog anymore which is annoying because this is what I love doing! However, I don't have a great amount of time at the moment, due to school and work, and the only free time I get is spent with family and friends.

So, I know I've said this before, but I'm going to try my best to blog more, even if it's just once a week, so I can get back in the swing of blogging. If I don't then I'll slap the back of my hand and go and sit in the naughty corner!

Apologies again and hope you all have a lovely Sunday evening!
