High End Make Up Wishlist.

I don't own that much make up from high end brands. After all, I am a student and that money is just non-existent. But, this year I've decided to branch out and try a few new high end products once in a while (when I can afford it). I love making lists, and make up lists are my favourite kind. I actually go through each website and make a list of every bit of make up that I want. And then I cry because it's going to take me forever to buy everything off that list. I'm never going to give up though girls, I'm never going to give up. I thought I'd pick a few of my most wanted items, because let's be honest, we'd be here all day if you saw the actual list I have.

Current ASOS Wishlist

I have really been loving ASOS recently and have created quite a wishlist. I love my lists and when it comes to clothes, making a list of things I'd love to have in my life makes list-writing even better. Don't you just wish you could click on an item of clothing and it would magically appear in your wardrobe though? Why does this not happen?

I thought I'd share with you all my recent favourites from ASOS. I have to admit, I was meant to be doing uni work but somehow happened to stumble across the ASOS website (I don't know how this happened...) and fell in love with A LOT of things they have on there. I feel like I need to bring more autumnal clothes into my wardrobe, even though I have loads already. However, it's always nice to treat yourself to a few new things once in a while right?

Christmas Beauty Wishlist

Urban Decay Naked 3 Eyeshadow Palette
One of the most hyped products on the blogosphere. Urban Decay do it well with eyeshadows and after thoroughly loving my Naked 1 palette (and still treating it like my baby), I thought I should give some of the love to a new set of eyeshadows. The Naked 3 moves away from my normal neutral looks and moves more towards pinks and rose golds, I think it would be nice to experiment with different looks and this palette is perfect for doing so.

Too Faced Chocolate Bar Eyeshadow Palette
Oh my days, this palette. I've watched numerous YouTube videos and read countless blogs showing this palette and I have to say, I think I'm in love and it's not even in my hands yet! The colours look AMAZING and sooo highly pigmented and what's even better...IT SMELLS OF CHOCOLATE. Plz bring this to me Santa, will love you forever.

Benefit's Watt's Up Highlighter
I love a good highlight and I love a good Benefit product so why not put them together ey? Firstly, I love the packaging, Benefit never lets me down with their packaging! Secondly, the colour looks amazing and thirdly, it's a highlighter, and for me you can never go wrong with a bit of glowiness (is that a word?!).

NARS Laguna Bronzer
This bronzer has been on my wishlist for a long time now but I find that it is so expensive that it makes me chicken out when I want to buy it. I love bronzed skin and have been really getting into this look recently and from past reviews, I've heard many good things about this product and it looks gorgeous in photos!

theBalm Mary Lou Manizer Luminizer
Again, another highlighter. A girl can't have too many highlighters right? This product is one of the most hyped highlighters across the blogosphere and has been in my wishes for a long time. It seems so pigmented from what I've seen and tested (everytime I see it I always swatch it and dream about having this little beauty on my face, I know, sad.)

Let me know what your wishlist consists of!

New Years Wishlist: 2014.

Happy New Year everybody!

Can you believe that it is 2014? Where did last year even go?! I feel like it was only yesterday, oh wait...

When people go into the new year they always say 'new year new me'. But that's not really true is it. Many people make a list of resolutions but never keep them. Well, I know I don't, but if you're one of the few that do, please comment because I really need tips on how to do it! So, instead of making a list of 'resolutions', I thought I'd do a New Year wishlist. Many of you are probably thinking it's the same thing but in my head, it's totally different. I want to TRY and fulfill this list and if I don't then I'll be pretty annoyed at myself. But, hey ho, let's see what happens!

1. Be more positive.
Throughout 2013, I never really had self-belief, particularly when it came to school. I never thought I'd do well or never really had any future aspirations apart from hopefully getting good enough grades to get me into university. After a pretty rubbish time over my AS level results, I went into year 13 trying my hardest but still felt like I wasn't going anywhere. I doubted myself a lot and I thought this year I have to change that. I don't want to think of the negative side to everything and more the positive aspects. If something goes wrong then so what, I'll try it again. I don't want to be a person who thinks about the bad things and the outcomes of everything. So this year I'm going to not think about things too much and live everyday as it is (oh how cliché).

2. Get into a good skincare routine.
I say this to myself all the time. I always start to get into a skincare routine where I exfoliate, cleanse and moisturise, and it lasts for about 4 days then I'm always too tired to do it on a nighttime and have too little time to do it on a morning before school. I really want to have nicer looking skin and so to coincide with this I'm also going to drink more water. Let's see how it turns out!

3. Push myself and try new things.
I want to build my confidence more and since this is my last year at school and so I'll be going off to do my own thing, I want to try new things. I want to push myself out of my comfort zone and try new things that I would never think about trying before.

4. Read more books.
This is a bit of a random one but I really want to read more books. The only time I read them is when I'm on holiday because I have more time. At the moment, I literally have no time to sit down and start reading a book. Even if I try, I read one chapter and never pick it up again. I NEED to do this!

5. Blog more.
This is my major wish on my 2014 wishlist. I love blogging, but like I've said, I never have time. I want to advance my blog and write posts regularly so I'm going organise my time more and make sure that I post at least ONCE a week. If I don't then I'll have to do some sort of forfeit! I always make a list of blog posts but never get round to writing them so this year, I'm actually going to finish a list for once!

I really hope I actually fulfill this list because I do really want to make these changes. I never say 'oh I'm going to join a gym and eat more healthily' because let's face it, that is never going to happen in my world. I can't even run up the stairs without getting out of breath never mind an hour workout. So, let's just stick with these ey?

I hope you all have an amazing 2014 and a happy new year once again! Let me know what your resolutions/wishlists for 2014 in the comments below!

My Current Wishlist...

Hello my lovelies!

Lately, I've been trying to save my money but whenever I get paid, it always cries out to me. I feel like I can't just leave the money, sitting there, all alone with nothing to be spent on. Yes, I know I sound like my money and I have a close relationship. I am such a bad shopper, I save up my money for a short period of time and I think to myself, "Well done Charlotte, you're doing great, keep going!" Then I end up going on what is supposed to be a "quick trip" to town and then BAM my purse feels surprisingly lighter...

To give me a break from revision, I sometimes find myself browsing the online shops of the tinterwebs to see what fashion and beauty items I can drool over. Since Spring/Summer is crawling upon us I have decided to refrain myself from buying jumpers and to start purchasing dresses, bikinis and anything summery that catches my eye. I have also started to buy items for my summer holidays this year so that I'm not rushing at the last minute. I have also included some beauty items in my wishlist that I would love to splash some cash on. So, let's get started...
Beautysets - My Current Wishlist

Purple Marl Embroidered Dress, River Island - £22.00 - I saw this dress a couple of weeks ago on the River Island website and thought it was gorgeous! I took a trip to town to see if I could find it but there wasn't any in my size. I was contemplating whether to order it online or not because I always think the delivery fee is too much especially added to the price of the dress. On Monday I found out that River Island were doing 20% off student days from Tuesday to Thursday. Bonus! I could get 20% off which would bring it to £17.50 which is great. So I went online again, cards at the ready only to find out they were all sold out apart from one size, which wasn't mine. I could've cried. I really hope it comes in stock soon. This dress would be perfect in the sun and is such a nice little day dress which you could wear with some tan gladiator sandals and aviators. A perfect look! *BREAKING NEWS GUYS: I've just found this on ASOS. Life saver!

Coral Stripe Frill Bikini Top and Pants, Topshop - £12.00 and £10.00 - I've started to look at bikinis for my holiday and although I have some perfectly good ones already, I always feel the need to buy some new sets. I found this set from Topshop which don't really come as a set but separately. I love coral in the summer because I always think the colour matches with a tan. I love striped bikinis and I think this little number would be lovely for my holiday.

Cream Lace Playsuit Cover Up, Topshop - £30.00 - I've been wanting a white/cream cover up for a while now because I always think that the colour against a fresh tan looks divine! It always brings your tan out. I found this from Topshop and loved the detailing however, at a price of £30.00 it is pretty pricey. I always find that when I wear sun cream on holiday and then wear a white or cream cover up, the cream always rubs off onto it and makes a yellow stain which is impossible to get out. Need to save my pennies for this little beauty!

Celestial Powder by Kevyn Aucoin, Space NK - £34.00 - "A gorgeous, elegant shimmer powder for an angelic glow." Doesn't that sound amazing? I first found out about this product by watching a video and reading a blog post by Corrie from DizzyBrunette3 which you can view here. She was wearing it in the video and I envied her glow. So, I thought I'd read up on the product and I read a few blogs and reviews and now I can't wait to try it. This product is a powdered highlighter and is supposed to be the 'highlighter of all highlighters'. I do love a good glow and I've been trying to find the perfect product to do this. However, it is pretty expensive but maybe you will hear more on this product soon. Who knows...

NARS Laguna Bronzer - £26.00 - I first heard about this product around summertime last year, which literally seems like yesterday, why does time go so fast?! Anyway, I saw that my ultimate girl crush, Millie Mackintosh uses it. I like to use bronzer to help sculpt my cheekbones but also in the summer, I like to powder a bit slightly all over my face alongside a tan. The colour 'Laguna' is such a nice tan colour and seems to be glowing, especially on Millie. Millie is the goddess of perfect glowing skin and I'm on a mission to find the exact way to achieve this.

There you have it, my current wishlist. Yeah, I do need to save my money if I am to buy all of this. There's nothing wrong with a cheeky purchase here and there, is there?
